MAGGIE'S NEW HOME
STELLA'S NEW HOME

Hi - Stella (puppy #3) is doing wonderful. I was fully prepared for lots of accidents and sleepless nights, but it has not been nearly as bad as I have experienced w/ the other dogs & puppies we have adopted or fostered over the years. She was accident free in her kennel last night and she's hardly had any accidents in the house. She also slept for 6 hours straight last night, which was wonderful and a much needed rest for me! I'd love to have her sleep in the bed w/ us and the other dogs, but it didn't go over very well when she pee'd on my fiancé in the middle of the night Tuesday night. She went on her first trip to Petco earlier this week and got lots of new toys and treats. We were stopped numerous times by people telling us how cute she was and wanting to know her breed. Stuff is so much cheaper for small dogs! I'm pretty excited about that. As I mentioned to you, I was slightly concerned w/ how my other dogs would react to her. Jed, our black lab, was the one I was most worried about. He is very protective of his family & home. As soon as he met Stella, he rolled over on his back and started wagging his tail. He definitely wants to be friends and I have not seen one bit of aggression from him toward her. He's very happy to have a new playmate. Every day they start playing more and more. She definitely does not realize that she's only about ˝ the size of his head! She thinks she's pretty tough. I'll have to send you some pictures. The size difference between them is crazy. Both my labs weigh 80-90 pounds. Harry, our chocolate lab, isn't quite as exited about the new arrival. He was our very first dog and gets super jealous. He pretty much ignores her except for when she's on our bed. Then he gets kind of growly and storms off. It's like he's offended that we would actually let another dog in his space. It's been getting better throughout the week and I actually saw him trying to play with her in the back yard yesterday. He seems to be warming up to her. I am surprised that he is the one having issues, I was expecting it from Jed not him. Stella is a great puppy. I can tell that she has been very well socialized and I get the feeling that you spent a lot of time with her. She bonded to me very quickly and is constantly looking to me for attention and comforting. She's very sweet. She also doesn't run away when we're outside. I walked her down the street last night and she stayed right at my heels. She's making her self pretty irresistable. She has completely settled in and her personality is starting to really show. She's a talker! Her howling cracks me up. It's so surprising that such a loud sound is coming out of such a small body. Rest assured that Stella has gotten the most loving home possible. Shane and I don't have kids yet and our dogs are the center of our universe. I adore our labs, but had a really bad knee injury & surgery last year so I am unable to interact with them as much as I would like to. I can't walk them or take them out by myself anywhere. I've been wanting a smaller dog that I can handle alone for a while now, and Stella is just perfect. I'll be in touch and send some pictures of her w/ her new brothers. Thanks for the wonderful job you did raising her. Jill & Shane
ROXY'S NEW HOME

Deb,
First and Foremost, I would like to say THANK YOU for raising such an amazing puppy. Roxy and the family have adjusted completely and are very happy! Roxy is quite possibly the cutest puppy in the world, and we get many compliments to prove it. Anywhere we bring her the only reaction we get is "Awe, she is so cute." This is true! She gets a lot of attention and a lot of love! Roxy has been doing spectacular with potty training. We haven't had an accident in almost 3 weeks!! She learned the routine and knows that when we go outside to the spot, it's business time not playtime. This is much different than the last time I wrote, but she has changed SO much! Fetch is also her favorite thing to play outside. She will chase practically anything down and bring it back. To add to her playtime, she likes to show off her tricks. Roxy may be young, but sit, shake, lie down, and roll over are already on her favorites list. Roxy has been to the vet and recently diagnosed with a condition called Giardia. Apparently there has been an outbreak of it in our area and have been 10-15 cases in the last week alone at the pet doctor we go to. This is large in part to do with the geese that have been passing through leaving their waste on the ground. Roxy is getting better and should be back to 100% in the next couple of days. Besides that, the hernia is almost all gone and she is weighing in at a whopping 9.4 pounds!! I have attached some pictures of her with the family if you would like to post them on your website. Thank you VERY much for such an amazing puppy. The puggle was a perfect choice for our home. Thanks!!! She is the most loved pup in the world!

BREWER'S NEW HOME

Hi Deb and Jim!!
Here are some recent pictures of Brewer if you had any interest in posting them. It looks like there might be another pup that has the light colored face like Brewer has. Brewer has the same under bite that Dolly has, but I don't have a good picture of it unfortunately. He is a wonderful little guy. Loves to chase the cat and plays great with my boys. He is such a cuddler you'd think he was a baby the way he snuggles up on you sometimes. At his last vet visit he was 18 lbs and that was early December. Our vet didn't think he be more than 25 lbs, which for me is perfect! Thank you so much for meeting us and raising such a wonderful puppy! Many thanks to Dolly and Copper too!! Can't wait to hear about the new pups and would be very interested in a brother or sister!! Talk to you soon! Karen
