   Firstly, all purchasers SHOULD FULLY REALIZE that there is no such thing as a 100% health guarantee for a living being such as a puppy.  We strive very hard to try and raise healthy and happy puppies but as in life nothing is a 100% sure thing.  Sometimes something unforeseen and beyond my control can crop up at any time in the puppies life.

  As a breeder I guarantee that your puppy was in good health at the time of vet examination and vaccination at the vet's office, and has had all necessary initial shots and medications. Any known defects will be made known to the buyer prior to purchase.

1.  Purchaser will have 3 business days to have the puppy examined by a vet of the purchaser's choice, at the purchaser's expense.  A copy of this vet visit must be forwarded to Debbie O'Keeffe either by email or fax or overnight U.S post and must be received by Debbie O'Keeffe within 10 business days of purchase of the puppy.  If breeder does not receive a vet report within 10 days of receiving  then the breeder will assume puppy is in good health and purchaser will be responsible for future well being of puppy.

 2. If the puppy is found to be unhealthy with a life threatening hereditary defect or congenital disease by the purchaser's vet the purchaser must notify the seller within 72 hours of diagnosis and allow seller to have the option of having the puppy checked by the veternarian of sellers choice.

3.  With respect to the purchase warranty the breeder will replace the puppy with another puppy of equal value when available or refund the purchase price of the puppy ONLY if the puppy is returned to seller(to be discussed and agreed upon by all parties involved prior to making a decision)with the following conditions:  It will be at the purchaser's expense and their responsibility for the costs associated to return the puppy to the breeder's residence unless breeder agrees to help with this cost. The puppy must be returned to Debbie O'Keeffe by the purchaser within  72 hours of the purchaser's vet visit. The warranty will be VOID if the puppy is euthanized without the consent of the seller. ALL PAPERWORK SUPPLIED BY DEBBIE O'KEEFFE AT TIME OF PURCHASE PERTAINING TO THE PUPPY MUST ACCOMPANY THE RETURNED PUPPY. 

4. All paperwork from purchaser's vet as to the puppy's supposed life-threatening condition must be supplied to the breeder within the twenty-four hours of examination and at the time when the pup is returned to the breeder so breeder's vet can view the purchaser's vet's findings and supposed life-threatening condition.  IF AND ONLY IF  the breeder's vet agrees with the purchaser's vet report then and only with this vets agreement that the puppy has a defect will the purchase price refunded(must be discussed and agreed upon by all parties involved). Breeder has the right to have the pup re-examined by the breeder's vet before replacement puppy or refund of purchase price is agreed upon by the breeder. 

5. This warranty does not cover any adverse reations to future vaccinations, medications, complications with surgeries, treatable conditions such as but not limited to fleas, worms, ticks, earmites, diarrhea, coccidiosis, giardia, etc., further more seller is not responsible for ANY veternarian fees incurred by the puppy. No guarantee is made on health problems or defects that cannot be detected at the time of vet check. Some of these problems can be caused simply by the stress felt by the puppy with moving to a new home, change in routine and change in water. Puppies are like children, they are susceptible to infections and common illnesses. 

6. All vet bills are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please call or email immediately if there are any problems or you have any questions or concerns. Once again the stress felt by the puppy from the introduction into a new home, change in food, or water supply can cause diarrhea

7. This document, including warranty shall be construed in accordance with the laws and statutes of the state of IOWA. The venue for any litigation concerning this warranty shall be Iowa district court in and for Guthrie County for Debbie O'Keeffe.

8. This puppy is sold by seller to the buyer for a pet and seller provides no warranty as to the suitability of the puppy for other purposes, including but not limited to showing or breeding.

9. If the buyer should sell or give away the puppy after purchasing then this warranty is NULL and VOID immediately.

10. The puppy will not be replaced or any money refunded because or urinating or defecating in the house. The breeder feels it is up to the purchaser to properly house train the puppy once it has been purchased. A puppy is never 100% house trained at eight weeks of age. Also the puppy will not be replaced or any money refunded if the puppy cries when confined as the breeder feels the puppy should learn to be crated or confined for it's own well being and safety while the purchaser is away or otherwise occupied and unable to supervise the puppy. 

11. All purchaser's need to realize that puppy's will cry when they leave their first home, mother and litter mates to go to their new home.  Also they may cry when left alone or in the middle of the night. This is all part of puppy parent hood and should not be entered into lightly or on the spur of the moment. With love, time and much patience the purchaser will have a wonderful puppy that grows into a wonderful companion in the future, but it is entirely up to the purchaser to see that all these needs are fulfilled in full every day of the puppy's life and that they make the puppy into the wonderful dog it is capable of becoming I am trying to raise healthy happy puppies that go to great and permanent homes with loving and caring people. I take placing my puppies very seriously and hope that the purchasers can respect this and are honest about living up to their obligation of the above conditions.  

IF ALL  OF THE ABOVE CONDITIONS are not met then this puppy warranty will become void and null.  All sales are final , except as provided in the warranty described herein.
BREEDER WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY VET BILLS OF THE PURCHASER UNLESS PREVIOUSLY ARRANGED AND AGREED TO BETWEEN THE PURCHASER AND THE BREEDER. THIS MUST BE IN WRITING WITH EACH PARTY RECEIVING AND SIGNING A COPY BEFORE ANY VET TREATMENTS ARE STARTED.

 I, THE PURCHASER HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND, SIGNED, DATED AND DO FULLY AGREE TO ABIDE BY ALL THE CONDITIONS IN THE ABOVE PARAGRAPHS OF THIS PUPPY PURCHASE WARRANTY  AS STATED ABOVE BY DEBBIE O'KEEFFE.
